This is my go to red. I would call myself a 50/50 red/white drinker but I pair this wine with a lot of dishes that many would generally pair with a white. It's incredibly versatile and has a gorgeous ruby color.  It is very fruit forward but nicely balanced.  It is a good middle of the road red, some of my friends that prefer a bigger wine like this one very much and some that are predominantly white drinkers have asked for this with dinner.  Don't be alarmed that the bottle is a screw top- methods have come a long way and this is a quality wine. 

It pairs well with salmon, vegetarian food, chicken, root veggies and I would imagine would be delicious with a proper cheese plate. 

I can get this for $9.95 at my local wine wholesaler but have seen it at regular liquor/wine stores for $12.99...  and it's worth every penny : )
